Government officials have served seventeen different misdemeanor charges against Harrah’s hotel and casino organization for bad remodeling construction projects at two of their Vegas hotels.
Las Vegas County spokesperson said the construction building permit department last week charged Harrah’s with thirteen charges for construction work at Harrah’s and The Rio Hotel.
County officials stated the two resorts in this case has remodeling projects that were completed without and type of government inspection or permit, and eventually created inferior work.
The spokesperson for Harrah’s told local newspapers last week that the company had received the all pending charges and are currently reviewing all charges.
The Las Vegas building department also stated that the local fire department will also be issuing citations on their own investigation.
State officials were not sure if the fire department’s charges would hold up in court.
